Are Volvo cars worth spending the money for premium gas?

I am thinking about buying a volvo, but the premium gas it needs is more expensive.. But ive also heard they are very nice running and nicely built cars. Is the money worth it?|||Volvo's are great cars. They're safe, uniquely styled, and are very reliable so long as you keep up with the regular maintenance.

I own a 2001 S60 2.4T, and the premium gas isn't terribly expensive. It costs about $5.00 more per 20 gallon fill-up, compared to regular unleaded.

Before you buy, find a good local mechanic who can look over the car for any problems. Any good dealer will allow you to do this.|||No, I personally do not think Volvo's are even worth half of what they sell for, they are really a dieing Car in the market. Your better off going with VW or Audi if you want to spend your money on premium, for they are actually turbocharged cars. Volvo's kind of show off that your a business woman with no taste really. No offense but men do not belong in them. My mom is a BDM for Staples and she drives a Audi S4. It shows off her style and it's her social symbol. I don't know in the end it's up to you, as for me its a big no no.|||On a non turbocharged car you can get away without running premium, if you get one of the turbocharged models, you absolutely need to run premium.|||yes buy a volvo beleive me i have 3 (no joke) and i put silver (inbetween unleaded and premium) and its great. (unleaded makes the car knock)|||Turbo, yes. Non turbo, no.|||doesnt matter we have a v70 glt and a 240 and both run fine with regular|||Putting in premium is a waste of money!
