How much is a 1977 volvo in EXCELLENT condition worth?

It still has that volvo scent, has no rust. Its garaged and starts right up and drives great. What do you think I could try to sell it for?|||If it is in absolutely No. 1 condition, $2000 tops. Do you have the service records? Having that documentation will make it easier to sell. If you advertise it for $2K, you can expect offers in the $1500 neighborhood. Most old car pricing is based on conjecture and quite a bit depends on where you are located, vehicle mileage, etc. Of course if you have a potential buyer who must have that particular car, maybe you can command a higher selling price.|||5 bucks|||Know more then what you are willing to pay for it.|||Whatever you get out of it.|||a Volvo is just a Volvo, spelled the wrong way, it should be spelled Junk|||Funny,

Volvo in 1977 was better than all your new cars, trust me.

About $3200.|||Ouch! I bought a Volvo V70 estate in 2008. top specification, estate, auto, air con, the full works, first registered 2001, and got less for the car than I paid for my private plate, only one month ago. Cost me 拢7,000 and sold it for 拢1,000. Only had it 18 months. Nobody wants big cars anymore, unless you have an unlimited bank account.

Would suggest you keep it, and enjoy it.|||if the car is actually is as billed, i would ask 4000 dollars and come down to around 3000. i would not bother to advertise in the paper but would hit the most popular volvo sites on the net. if car is a well optioned 242 i would try to hold firm at 3500.

good luck [i would bite at these prices but already have 3 volvo's, a s-10 and a saturn for a family of 3]|||Have it appraised by an antique car dealer, that is the best way what its worth.
